Horwood’s Home and Community Support Services Inc. not only provides the citizens of the communities it serves with outstanding support, but it also supports many community projects. Below is a list of events/projects that Horwoods’s has been involved with
June 2012 – Donated an award plaque to the Exploits Valley Crime Stoppers Annual Dog Show.
- June 2012 – Sponsored a mixed slo-pitch softball team

- October 29, 2011 – Bank of Montreal Bool-a-thon in Grand Falls – Windsor
The bool-a-thon is an annual event orgainzed by BMO to raise funds for the Kids Help Phone. Horwood’s was pleased to be able to sponsor a bowling lane (or booling lane) for this worthwhile cause.
